Guessing isn't easy today

If we study history, people's work was mostly routine. They do the same type of work everyday. So it was easy to predict people then.   Let me give you an example. On one weekend, if I returned to my room after college and I couldn't find my roommate, I just come to a conclusion that he would have gone home. It was a kind of easy.   But today, people have evolved a lot. Their brains work more sharply today. They have got lots of different works to do. So, it is very difficult to predict their actions. But, if you watch carefully for more details, you can guess it right. Let me give you another example. On one weekend, when I returned to my room I couldn't find my roommate. So I thought he would have gone home. But then I carefully checked for other details and I found his mobile phone's charger which is still in the socket. So, I changed my decision which turned out right. He didn't leave to home. Because today it is obvious that no one would leave their mobile ...

The Limbic Brain

This is my understanding about "The Limbic Brain" which I came through while I was reading the book "WHAT EVERYBODY IS SAYING" by Joe Navarro. Our brain, depending on the situation acts in three different ways -the reptilian brain, -the limbic brain, -the human brain. The Limbic Brain is also called as 'the honest brain'. Because it is the part of the brain which reacts to the world reflexively and instantaneously, in real time, and without  thought . So it cannot lie. It is our emotional centre. It gives off a true response to the information coming around us. So, as an amateur mentalist, one of the things you need to observe in others is their body language and reflexes.
